Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis

About Test

A diagnosis of Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis (an inflammatory lung disease) may be supported by detection of precipitating antibodies to a variety of inhaled antigens associated primarily with molds, bacteria and birds. A positive test does not always indicate active disease and a diagnosis should be supported by historical and clinical evidence, since healthy individuals occasionally might also develop precipitins.

Components: Aspergillus fumigatus, Micropolyspora faeni, Pigeon Serum, T. candidus, T. vulgarisS. viridis
