MR ARTHROGRAM HIP WITH CONTRAST
About Test
An MR arthrogram of the hip with contrast is a diagnostic imaging test that uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to create detailed images of the hip joint. During the procedure, a contrast dye is injected into the hip joint to enhance the visibility of the joint structures on the images.
MR arthrograms of the hip with contrast are commonly used to diagnose hip conditions such as labral tears, hip impingement, and hip dysplasia. The test is generally safe and well-tolerated, but it may not be recommended for some patients, such as those who are pregnant or who have certain medical conditions. Your doctor can help determine if this test is appropriate for you.
